Nutritional Diagnosis of the Mineral Elements in Tainong Mango Leaves during Flowering in Karst Areas

The balance of the mineral nutrition in mango leaves during flowering period affects trees and fruit production. Because soil karst areas has a slow unbalanced supply rate nutrients, orchards area generally have low yield. There are few studies on fertilization areas, especially diagnosis leaf nutrition. In this study, typical Guangxi province, one main mango-producing China, were selected from low-yielding medium-yielding orchards. Surface samples full bloom collected to test for macronutrients micronutrients. Diagnosis Recommendation Integrated System (DRIS) graphical method, DRIS Modified (M-DRIS), Deviation Optimum Percentage (DOP) index diagnostic methods applied leaves. results showed that analysis yielded appropriate ratios N, P, K, Mg, S, Fe, Mn, Cu with corresponding three elements, Ca, Zn, B, which can be used as reference criteria. Based values criteria high-yielding orchards, critical ranges suitable nutrients Tainong determined N (14.87–17.27 g/kg), P (0.69–0.89 K (4.45–6.90 Ca (9.51–16.55 Mg (1.44–2.20 S (0.75–1.06 Fe (0.10–0.13 Mn (0.61–1.02 (5.41–8.89 mg/kg), Zn (7.91–18.95 B (8.38–16.23 mg/kg).
